The Future Academy is for everyone who loves music and loves to produce music.
During The Future Academy the top of the dance industry will show you their way of making music, what it’s like to live like a DJ / producer and much more!
The first edition will take place on Saturday the 19th of October 2019 during Amsterdam Dance Event. The Future Academy will bring you a unique experience in the oldest and probably most beautiful theatre of Amsterdam, ‘De Kleine Komedie’.
This one day event offers a day full of seminars, workshops and panels where you can reserve your own seat as if you were going to see a performance/show. The seminars and workshops offer an ideal opportunity to see how top DJ’s and producers construct and reconstruct their own music on stage and to ask questions about the process. During the panel discussions you can ask your own questions to the top DJ’s and producers who will be part of the Q&A sessions.
By doing this, The Future Academy aims to connect the young, new, ambitious DJ’s and producers to the current top to help shape the future of the next generation through this exclusive opportunity.

What is the minimum age of The Future Academy?
The Future Academy is an all age event!
What is the address of the ‘Kleine Komedie”?
The Kleine Komedie is based on the Amstel 56-58 in Amsterdam (City Centre).
What time do the doors open?
The doors are open from 12 o’clock. The seminars start at 12.30 PM.

Are there tickets available at the door?
Yes, but keep an eye on the website regarding the progress of ticket sales. We always recommend buying your ticket in the presales.
Do I have to take my ID to the event?
Yes, before you enter the event security can ask for your ID to check your name on your ticket.
In which language is The Future academy given?
The Future Academy will mainly take place in English.
What is the day schedule?
The day schedule will be announced at a later time.
Is it possible to come by public transport?
Yes. The Kleine Komedie is based in the City Centre of Amsterdam. It is easily accessible by public transport! We recommend using public transportation.
Is it possible to take my laptop to the future academy and take notes?
Ofcourse! This is part of what we stand for!
